Gambia Birding Cranes is a birdwatching and ecotourism organization founded by Mawdo Keita, a passionate Gambian ornithologist, birdwatching guide, educator, and conservation advocate.
With years of experience exploring The Gambia’s forests, wetlands, riverbanks, mangroves, and coastal ecosystems, Mawdo has guided visitors from around the world in discovering the country’s exceptional birdlife.
His passion extends beyond guiding. Through environmental education, community engagement, and conservation awareness, he works to inspire people to appreciate and protect wildlife for future generations.
